Closing Checklist:
BUYER
Photo identification (passport, driver’s license, or state-issued identification
card);
Proof of purchase of insurance for fire, casualty, etc;
*Cashier’s check(s) or wire transfer of funds, and your personal checkbook for
any miscellaneous charges
Any additional documentation that your Loan Officer has asked you to supply
*NOTE: ALL FUNDS MUST COMPLY WITH TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE REGULATIONS (GOOD FUNDS).
SELLER
Photo identification (passport, driver’s license, or state-issued
identification card)
Invoices for any unpaid taxes, utilities, assessments
Any unrecorded instruments that affect the title
Proof of satisfaction of any mechanics’ liens, mortgages, judgments, or
mortgages that were paid prior to the closing (please provide this with the
title order)
Any items you wish to pass on to the Buyer such as association payment Coupons,
warranties, etc.
